1029: Washington Square Park II Oct. 21st 2009 - New York, New York 10 p.m. start Home - Park Investigators: Dom, Traci & Tony. Reports: History dating back to the 18th century when the park was used as a burial ground for yellow fever victims, then in the 19th century used as hanging grounds and potters fields. Today one hanging tree remains and the bodies of thousands still lay beneath the park. Claims of apparitions and voices coming from the fountain and front. Visions from the hanging tree. Results: All data is clear. Noise and large amounts of people made it difficult to do any type of EVP work. From the reports we have gotten over the years, it does appear that October and November tend to be the best time to witness paranormal activity in the park. We will continue interviewing and collecting evidence. Frt Ftn Tree
